Clifford Anderson

(1905-1967). Evangelist, missionary, medical writer, “Your Radio Doctor.” A native of Melbourne, Australia, Anderson began his service to the church in 1924 when he joined his brother Roy in an evangelistic effort in New Zealand. After working with the Sanitarium Health Food Company in Australia, he conducted evangelistic work in north Queensland. In 1930 he and his wife went to England, where he did evangelistic work in London. He was ordained to the gospel ministry and in 1937 enrolled at the College of Medical Evangelists in Loma Linda. After his graduation he began medical practice in Washington, D.C., and in 1944 he and his family answered a call to Jamaica, where Dr. Anderson was responsible for the development and construction of the Andrews Memorial Hospital at Kingston.
